Below is a list of needs we have for this year and any sponsors or volunteers are much appreciated on this really unique project!
Heirloom Peace Gardens' Wish List:
People to grow seeds and plants in the garden
Seeds/plants, preferably heirloom varieties
Dry out and save seeds for next season
People to water and weed garden weekly or as needed
People to share what they know with others at seminars
Event organizer, volunteers
People to sell produce at the farmers' market
Garden tools, to use or to donate (shovel, hoe, etc.)
Monetary donations
Take pictures, video
Set up 501(c)(3) for non-profit IRS status
Find, write grants (e.g., Native American preservation and culture)
Pick up free woodchips from City of Defiance to make paths at garden
